After it became clear that continuing with the L&K name was leaving CBBC on a hiding to nothing, the name was scrapped - not that they could think of a more original name for its replacement. The "better, sassier, sexier and more stylish" show was fronted by BBC youth show regular Joe Mace and, surprisingly, ex-Word host Dani Behr, more famous for dating footballers than for her kid-friendliness.
Long-time BBC Satkids Editor Chris Bellinger finally gave way to a new production team, but despite - or perhaps because of - the contrbutions of around seventeen Producers of one kind or another, the show had a rather forced, uneven tone.
The ratings gap marginally improved, but puppets Tiny and Mr Duk were more popular than either presenter, and Behr was given a public warning after talking sex in Maxim magazine. Both presenters were dropped after ten months, CBBC claiming that they were looking for a younger audience. They were replaced by Fearne Cotton, previously of GMTV kids' show Diggit, and newcomer Simon Grant.
