Main gimmick was the
irritating Max Headroom-esque presenter - some tosser in
"a solid rubber blond wig and sky blue jacket marked
with clouds".
Mark Speight (said tosser)
was at the time a fixure of just about every other
CBBC/CITV show. He is currently presenting Take Hart-wannabe
show Smart.
Scratchy's sidekick (his
Co., in fact) was a kid sporting an 'amusing' quiff
and deep voice, but only the saddest of people would be
able to recall his real name. Elliott Henderson-Boyle, he
was called.
Consensus of opinion that
it was worth watching only for Animaniacs / Pinky and
the Brain. Certainly Scratchy has not
proved popular with SatKids readers, having consistently
been voted least popular SatKids show of all time in our poll!
